Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Stores Assistant.

The purpose of this role is to support the force in the quick and effective movement of post and packages around the force area for the next 6 months.

Responsibilities -

  • Picking, packing and dispatch of post and packages (including uniform, specialist kit and other equipment) into delivery vans for distribution around the force area for the next 6 months.

  • Receive deliveries into stores for stores and items for other depts.

  • Undertaking regular and year-end stock checks to ensure that physical stock and system inventory is correct to comply with audit.

  • A level of physical work is required for this post, as you would be moving boxes and smaller items by hand to be picked and packed, or logged back in to the station.



Experience using IT is essential.

Working hours are 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm

Pay rate is £10.08 p/h

This role is subject to a background check.
