Simon Pure is an award winning, independent Surrey jewellers which has been established for 35 years. We are excited to be looking for someone to join our small friendly team and work with our long established and loyal customer base, along with bustling new clients from Guildford’s busy High Street. We have store locations in both Guildford and Cranleigh. where our workshop is also based.

Based at our friendly Guildford store this position involves direct jewellery sales, working with customers to create individual design commissions, management of staff, store merchandising and overseeing stock & store operations. You will liaise with our in-house goldsmiths and senior management team to achieve the sales targets whilst upholding the security of our store.

Skills and Experience:

Experience within retail sales is essential. A good foundation of jewellery knowledge, diamonds, gem stones and an appreciation of quality design would be preferable but not essential. A sound knowledge of repairs, valuations and quotations is desirable. This is a very hands on position, so we are looking for someone with a friendly, positive, reliable and helpful attitude with a focus on excellent customer service.

This is a perfect position for someone who is ready to move away from the corporate world into a position offering scope to work as a part of a small creative team.

Training:

Regular training will take place in both our stores and workshop, where you will learn about our bespoke design processes and everything you need to know about unique coloured gemstones and diamonds.

Hours:

Full time, Tuesday - Saturday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. 40 hours per week.

Remuneration:

Salary dependent on your skills and experience

Holiday entitlement 28 days including bank holidays
