IKEA Tottenham is looking for an Interior Design Co-worker to join their team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate & curious about life at home & is comfortable in educating & presenting to our customers about how to create a better life at home. You have an education in interior design/architecture or relevant experience. You always look for new ideas and actively seek to improve methods of working in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way. You have a keen eye for aesthetics & creative thinking supported by commercial visual competence. Experienced in using CAD, REVIT or similar software is essential.

Job description:
  • Job Title: Store Interior Designer Co-worker
  • Job Type: Full Time 39 Hours
  • Location: IKEA Tottenham (London)
  • Competitive Salary (London minimum Living Wage)

Contract information and shift patterns:
  • This vacancy is a permanent full-time contract, 39 hours per week, 5 days over 7.
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.30am till 4pm. Occasional weekend & night work required during peak trading periods. Flexibility towards working hours is necessary. When applying for this role please consider your commute to work if you are reliant on public transport.

Skills and experience:
  • You have an education in interior design, we would consider a candidate that is newly qualified.
  • You have experience as interior designer or retail designer in the hospitality field (restaurants, bars, food halls, etc.).
  • Creative thinking supported by commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Actively seeking improved methods of working in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way.
  • A practical hands-on approach to your tasks.
