We are working on behalf of our client in Middlesbrough. They are a food production company looking to expand their team with the addition of a Stock Controller.
You will be employed on a permanent basis, with a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE. Hours of work are 8.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
You will need to have the appetite to drive processes forward. Your primary accountabilities will be to manage the stock control system

Duties Of The Role
  • Generating POs
  • Conducting audits on a daily and weekly basis
  • Registering stock takes
  • Reporting any stock deficits
  • Ensuring correct suppliers are being used at all times
  • Planning stock levels
  • Carrying out associated admin
  • Ensuring that stock is in the correct place at the right time to deliver customer orders
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Essential Experience
  • Working in a food manufacturing facility
  • Completing stock takes
  • Generating POs
  • Ordering stock
  • Liaising with suppliers
Desirable Experience
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers
