A bespoke automotive manufacturer based in the black country within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector based in Wolverhampton
Job Description
The Stock and Purchasing Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the timely replenishment of 2 warehouses in the West Midlands and monitoring the inventory in both sites
- Ordering replacement stock from Group Manufacturing facilities to Wolverhampton supplied from China
- Processing the purchases and stock receipts on NAV ERP system
- Handling logistics for the incoming shipment and liaising with the carrier companies importing the product
- Ensuring the necessary documents are in place and obtaining value for money by selecting the partners to work with
The Successful Applicant
The successful Stock and Purchasing Manager will have experience of:
- Managing inventory and inbound supply within a bespoke supply chain
- Working alongside forwarders and shipping lines moving stock
- Negotiating and finding value with logistics supplier
- Customs or freight knowledge would be an advantage
- An automotive manufacturing background would be an advantage
What’s on Offer
A salary of between £40,000 and £45,000 plus bonus and pension
