37.5 Hours per weekWe have an excellent opportunity for two Band 5 staff Nurses to join us on ward 28 Vascular.Ward 28 Vascular is a 26 bedded inpatient Regional Vascular Unit. The Unit is the arterial centre for Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool Darlington & Durham. Our patients are both elective and emergency admission.As a multidisciplinary team we are committed to teaching and development of our staff & you will be supported with ward based learning, but also formal study days relating to vascular.We are looking for people who have some experience of working as a RN, especially if you have vascular experience, but we would also encourage applicants who are newly qualified. As a multidisciplinary team we are committed to teaching & development of our staff, developing you to your full potential as a highly skilled & experienced Nurse.The team on the ward are hardworking & committed to providing a high standard of care. We provide a professional but fun atmosphere, good peer support & great social network.We aim to provide safe effective care that exceeds the expectations of our patients and the public & we are looking for excellent nurses who embrace this.To be an active member of the multidisciplinary team by demonstrating a range of essential nursing skills to meet the needs of the vascular surgical patient in a safe caring environment that promotes dignity, privacy and respect.This vacancy will close once sufficient applications have been received.This Programme Aims ToSouth Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers.
