Main duties of the job

Initial assessment and completion of documentation of patients with acute medical presentations

Regular assessment of patients treatment needs and planning accordingly

Pressure ulcer prevention

Administration of medication, including IV medication

Liaising with other departments to coordinate patient care and treatment

Adhering to Infection prevention policies and procedures

Successful candidates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge in acute medicine by senior nursing team and by Practice Development nurse
