Job Title:SOC Organised Crime Group Disruptions and Operation Support Officer
Permanent Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week
Part time/flexible working options will be considered
Salary range: £23,817 to £26,016 per annum (pro-rata if part time)
Based at: Various locations across the Nottinghamshire force area.
Main Purpose of Role:To work alongside Lead Responsible Officers (LRO’s) to better inform and assist Organised Crime Group Management (OCGM) and to gather the evidence necessary to secure ancillary orders through the judicial process and monitor police compliance of the same, coordinating and evidencing enforcement action were appropriate.
To review and quality check Serious Organised Crime Unit file submissions, produce court evidence when required and assist in case preparation where necessary.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Must have experience of case management systems, MIRSAP principals and the collation of data to support performance reporting
- Must have investigator experience and be able to undertake investigations and investigative tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a working knowledge of statutory legislation and police procedures underpinning criminal investigations including but not limited to:
- Police and Criminal Investigation Act 1984 (and associated Codes of Practice).
- Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (and associated Codes of Practice)
- Should have experience working in a law enforcement arena disrupting serious and organised crime (SOC).
