About the Position:

The Partner Delivery Success Manager (PDM) is responsible and accountable for the success of implementation projects that are contracted and delivered by our System Integrator (SI) partners. The PDM is also responsible for overall guidance and support of the partner in the development and continued health of their Dayforce implementation practice.

In the support of partner-led projects, the PDM will participate in Implementation Partner project sponsor calls, key meetings and reviews. They will actively track project success against project milestones, and they will act as an escalation point for the customer if project issues cannot be resolved with the Implementation Partner Project Manager. They will also act as liaison for both the customer and the partner to other Ceridian teams as necessary.

In supporting the Implementation Partner’s Dayforce practice, the PDM will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators for the partner’s Dayforce practice and projects, and to develop and maintain a partner dashboard for use in reporting on the health of the practice. This dashboard information will be a key input into quarterly business reviews led by the partner’s assigned Partner Alliance Director, as well as for guidance on opportunities for improvement from the partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Assigned to one or more named partners to provide project oversight and Dayforce implementation business guidance
  • Build strong relationships with Partners and internal stakeholders, working collaboratively to drive a ‘One Team’ approach, and establish process efficiencies and systems to translate business needs into priorities
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to Partners regarding Dayforce implementation processes and tools
  • Work closely with the partner, customer, and internal Ceridian organizations
  • Participate in key meetings and project reviews of partner-led implementation projects
  • Assess, document, communicate and manage overall engagement risks
  • Evaluate complex issues and identify viable solutions that result in a successful outcome for the customer, the partner and Ceridian
  • Provide guidance to partner as necessary on recommended project remediation steps
  • Hold the partner, customer, and the Ceridian team accountable, initiating performance improvement conversations as necessary
  • Act as liaison for customer and partner to other Ceridian teams as necessary (Delivery Assurance, Customer Support, Development, Tax and Banking Services, Clocks, etc.)
  • Engage with Delivery Assurance resources as necessary regarding scheduling and review of the results from project checkpoints
  • Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on partner projects and partner’s Dayforce practice and collaborate with partner on improvement plans
  • Advise partner as to Best Practices regarding Dayforce implementation projects
  • Advise partner on development of successful and healthy Dayforce implementation practice
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with partner and Partner Alliance Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in customer-facing implementation roles.
  • Very strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills, including to senior leadership and executive levels
  • High degree of initiative and self-direction
  • Knowledge of HCM software or high-tech products/services is preferred with strong preference of knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce
  • Embodies a customer service mindset and operates as a value-added resource with a solutions orientation
  • Objectivity, resilience and flexibility to manage complex project and organizational issues
  • Experience contributing to team success in a matrix structure environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities and work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Periodic Travel may be required
