A primary near Thornton Heath area of Croydon, South London, with superb inclusion, are looking to appoint an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to support their SEN pupils. To be successful in your application you must be a passionate and inspiring graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children (preferably with Speech and Language) either in a volunteer or paid capacity. The school would like a Teaching Assistant for this post who has a happy, approachable demeanor that students will take to and an ability to differentiate your approach to pupils with varying needs. As a Teaching Assistant it is essential that you have skills to provide a caring, nurturing environment where everyone feels safe and secure.

This SEN focused Teaching Assistant position you will be in a class that have pupils with significant special needs, mostly cognitive developmental disorders which places them at levels below their peers. They need support with speech and language as well as other areas of the curriculum.
