An Outstanding mainstream Primary school in Enfield are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a sound knowledge of using a wide range so Speech and Language Therapy methods and interventions for children and young people with autism, learning disabilities and other special educational needs. The ideal candidate will assess students and provide effective, targeted group intervention as well as enable Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) to be implemented within agreed resources and for outcomes to be evidenced.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have recent experience within an educational setting
• Be registered with the Royal college of Speech therapy
• Be confident in providing targeted group intervention
• Be able to plan, execute and monitor communication therapy programmes for individuals and small groups of pupils with special educational needs at a specialist level
• Monitor, assess, record and report on the impact of speech and language therapy programmes.
• Follow therapeutic programmes linked to local and national learning strategies, such as literacy.
