Main duties of the job

Within our supportive and friendly team you will:
  • Receive regular clinical supervision in both 1:1 and peer support groups.
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Have an opportunity to work in an innovative, and motivated team within a supportive, collaborative and progressive environment.
  • Have an opportunity to acquire skills and development in a range of school-aged services.
  • Have buddy and supervisor support if completing NQT competencies.

The role:
  • You will work within both Welsh and English mainstream schools across both Conwy and Denbighshire.
  • You will work with a varied Paediatric caseload, working with school-aged children, in a range of settings including Primary and Secondary mainstream schools.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, and designing intervention for children on your caseload.
  • You will have the opportunity to work directly with children and young people as well as provide training, advice and support to school staff and the wider workforce.
  • You will work in partnership with families and professionals to support the needs of the children on your caseload.
  • You will have an opportunity to be involved in projects which contribute to service development.
  • Work closely with the wider Multi-disciplinary Team for school-aged services.
  • Support our team to continue to develop our on-line training packages.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
