A rare opportunity has arisen to join our Urgent and Ambulatory Care team in the role of Specialist Practice Educator. This post forms part of the Senior Management Team and would ideally suit an experienced Nurse or Allied Health Professional with an interest in Minor Injury and Illness

The post holder must be an experienced educator who has up to date knowledge of the current demands of clinical education and its impact on service delivery. They must be able to demonstrate their ability to utilize innovation in education delivery, in order to ensure the nursing and AHP workforce have the right skills and knowledge to provide the highest standards of compassionate, safe and effective patient care.

The successful applicant will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, to enable them to work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders and partners, to scope, design and deliver a high-quality learning experience for staff at all levels.

There is also an requirement to be part of the Urgent & Ambulatory Care on call rota.

This position is for 18.5 hours per week.
