We have availability for Engineering personnel to join our small tight knit team of specialist Fibre Optic Engineers at HMNB Portsmouth.

UKSV SC clearance is preferential along with BPSS. Previous fibre optic experience is preferable with full extensive bespoke training given due to the nature of our work.

Basic salary 30k+, 37.5hours per week + scope for OTE. Company Pension, Vehicle and laptop

Job description

Work consists mainly working out of our offices at HMNB Portsmouth on Naval Ships, conducting maintenance and new installation work including blown optical fibre networks and the associated systems.

Our schedule often involves flexible working, contracted hours are 37.5/week with additional paid as OTE, along with occasional weekend working. Candidates are required to be flexible as our schedule centres around Ships programmes and support/upkeep periods.

Computer literacy is essential as you will also be required to support the team in document reviews and creation of scope of works.

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• fibre optic: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• a Full clean UK Driving Licence (preferred)
