Job Description: Specialist Cleaner

Job Summary:
Multi Trades are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and possess expertise in various cleaning techniques. As a Specialist Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks in both commercial and domestic settings, focusing on damage restoration and site decontamination. Attention to detail, knowledge of asbestos awareness, and possession of relevant qualifications such as CSCS and BDMA are essential for this role. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent cleaning skills, and the ability to work independently, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform specialist cleaning tasks on construction sites, focusing on damage restoration and decontamination.
  • Utilize your knowledge of cleaning techniques to effectively and efficiently clean commercial and domestic spaces.
  • Pull out all contents from the site, ensuring proper handling and organization.
  • Decontaminate and sanitize the site to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in specialist cleaning, preferably with a construction background.
  • Asbestos Awareness certification is essential.
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is preferred.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) qualification is essential.
  • BDMA (British Damage Management Association) certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of damage restoration techniques and cleaning processes.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and resources effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform cleaning tasks that involve lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Flexible schedule with the availability for additional call outs, with the option for extra pay at time and a half.
Working Hours and Compensation:
  • Full-time position, working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Rate of pay for this role is £14 per hour.
  • Additional pay at time and a half is available for extra call outs.
  • The site address is Portsmouth – PO3.
