A highly sought after secondary special school is needing a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time long term basis. The position is to work across the year groups initially to help with cover until at least the end of the academic year. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be versatile and pro-active. All students are secondary age group but working at a primary level curriculum. You would be working with complex needs and severe and moderate learning difficulties. They will be working alongside an extremely supportive team and will be involved in all external and internal training in staff meetings and inset days. Parking is available onsite at the school and it is also central to the bus links. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience within the SEND sector and looking to start a career within the classroom or for someone who is looking to progress their career. To apply you will need:-Experience within special educational needs
  • Experience working with complex needs or severe and moderate learning difficulties
  • Experience working with children previously (Does not have to be within a school environment)
