The Exmoor Forest Inn, Simonsbath, is under new ownership and is looking for a sous chef to join our team. Working with our head chef, Ben Ogden, the job is available to start immediately. Situated in the heart of Exmoor national park, this role would suit someone who is keen to move to beautiful north Devon and work with the new owners to re-establish the Inn as the premier place to eat and stay. Exmoor is increasingly establishing itself as a foodie destination - think Exmoor Caviar, Porlock oysters, Exmoor blueberries, Exmoor blue cheese, Madrigal craft beers, Wicked Wolf Gin. The Exmoor Forest Inn is unique in that it is owned by a farm and will suit someone who is keen to make the most of our organic beef, lamb, venison and produce from the vegetable garden. We farm predominantly Angus cross cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep. Accommodation can be provided on site. Salary approx: from £26,000 depending on experience with pension scheme contribution.
