Sous Chef Berkshire £28-£30K base, £4K tips, FREE LIVE IN, 4.5 day week!! We are looking to recruit a dedicated, passionate Sous chef for this amazing, award winning gastro pub based near Thatcham in Bekrshire. The pub is privately owned and is part of a small group, renowned locally for their amazing food offering, relaxed dining and amazing wine and beer offering. The menu is a foodies dream and you will see lots of seafood from scallop dishes, monkfish, through to local meat, lamb and amazing steak options. They make everything from scratch, including all sauces and garnish’s. The business has a very good staff turnover. The owners really know how to look after their people and the team have a great relationship both in and out of work. This role has only come about due to a member of the team returning to Europe during Covid19 and deciding to stay back at home. The business is closed on a Sunday evening and a Monday, plus you will get another day off too. They are all about work & life balance. We are looking for Sous Chef in Berkshire that has cooked fresh food before and is good following classical recipes. It is essential you have worked with quality produce and know how to handle yourself on all the sections. We are looking for a leader and someone that can really support the Head chef.
