Secondly the Sourcing Specialist will work with these suppliers to secure competitive pricing for sales quotations, negotiate a solid inventory profile for their assigned manufacturers and analyse and respond quickly to supplier stock offers.The dual nature of this role means an ability to prioritise and have strong daily management skills are equally as important as an ability to build relationships and communicate confidently. A good commercial understanding of the electronics industry and business to business work experience would be an advantage.Duties will include:Build strong relationships with suppliers which create advantage for Future Electronics.Develop an in-depth knowledge of suppliers capabilities, strengths and weaknesses.Build knowledge of assigned manufacturers, their product portfolio, pricing points and cost competitiveness.Stay up to date with market changes with a focus on availability of product and pricing trends.Optimize profitability and maximize revenue based on knowledge of the markets, pricing trends, suppliers, customers and business strategies.Request and obtain best cost possible from Global suppliers. The request is typically made electronically via email and the Quoting Portal Queue. Sourcing Specialist is responsible for providing quote intelligence (competitive supplier crosses, strategy, and price guidance).Respond quickly to stock offers made by suppliers making sure the necessary analysis is completed to maximise opportunity while minimising risk to the company.Review and update regularly cost information on the dashboard to reflect current market conditions.Work with the asset team to determine stocking levels for assigned suppliers assessing global usage which may allow for a stronger negotiating position.Provide first class customer service level to all internal and external customers.Additional projects or duties as management define, at times requiredDo you have:Ideally educated to degree level having worked within a business environment ideally in a product /procurement role.Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
