Job Title : Solutions Architect Location: Burgess Hill/Remote Salary: £600-£700 per day Flexible Working: 20-40 hours per week 1 year contract with option to extend Our client is a leading supplier of medical and diagnostic products internationally based in Burgess Hill, who are looking to hire a solutions architect to join their team. The successful candidate will work with the informatics team to co-create a better future for patients through innovative technology and information working together with Strategic Marketing, Pharma Development Medical Affairs, and Pharma Partnering Business partners. Our client is an agile organization looking for cross functional innovative and integrated solutions based on great collaboration. The digital product is being developed to support a known business process integrating with other initiatives being developed. The process is literature review which is part of evidence generation. To be effective in this space, our client is looking for a team member who is willing to experiment, to connect with new applications, to rework and refactor as different capabilities are developed, and have an open mind when it comes to working with new challenges. Responsibilities As a solution architect you will apply your extensive technical background to work with a team to develop an application to support our scientific literature review process. Be part of architect group to design a global company digitization and data strategy with 2 other parallel major projects Work with business related initiatives to support the development of an overall ecosystem (design integration) Support POCs to assess technical feasibility and options for complex issues Requirements Informatica PowerCenter, postgreSQL, Data Warehouse, MySQL Experience in Data Warehouse design patterns (Kimball, Inmon etc.) Experience with design a web and modern architecture, Documenting architecture/design (SAD, DS), Code versioning tools (GitLab) Corporate cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance (IT helpdesk coordination) experience SSO accounts managing and intranet authorization Automatic/manual tests setup and organization Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies Fluency in English (written and spoken) Desirable Can support technical development: python, Tableau Google accounts & infrastructure integration Experience of working on BI projects related to data presentation and data warehousing Experience with integration of various web-based data and web-based applications and/or API (gsheets, gdocs, Oracle, postgres, etc.) For more information, please contact Chloe McCausland at Clearline Recruitment.
