Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for a Solutions Architect with experience in one of the following areas: Cloud integration/ Containerisatio/ DevOps/ Microservices/ APIs/ Identity Management to join our team in the UK, with travel to customer sites in the North Yorkshire area.
Applicants living in the UK, who require sponsorship will be considered
The Role
- Support customer’s Enterprise Architecture through activities such as technology assessments, support for standards and governance and production of Enterprise Architecture artefacts.
- Conceptualising new projects; recommending solutions and strategies.
- Designing, documenting and overseeing implementation of end to end integrated solutions.
- Compliance of solutions with standards and strategy.
- Work with Business and IT Stakeholders to define and progress technical solutions.
- Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations on adoption.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects across the Customer teams to promote best practice and shared solutions.
- Experience in software development and design
- An understanding of application development methodologies.
- An understanding of SOA, integration architectures and database technologies.
- Understanding of ERP packages and implementations
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- An understanding of the principles of IT Governance.
- Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Cloud integration; Containerisation; DevOps; Microservices; APIs, Identity Management
