Job Purpose:

Develop and generate sales of enterprise mobility solutions including barcode and data collection devices, print & print media, consumer mobile devices, software and a range of managed and professional services.

You will be responsible for developing and managing the relationship with a defined list of accounts within the transport and logistics sector.

This role will also have solution responsibilities for identifying and developing a portfolio of ISV partners to complement Peak-Ryzex established hardware and services capability.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Manage a set number of accounts across the UK selling a range of products from leading manufacturers covering Hardware, Software and Managed Service solutions.

2. Working all stages of the sales process including new business, account management and project delivery.

3. Identify and sell both software and hardware solutions to named accounts within the Transport, Logistics and Utilities industries.

4. Build relationships with key hardware and software partners.

5. Present Peak-Ryzex as a supplier of solutions such for connected vehicle and smart warehousing used in large and enterprise sized private UK companies.

6. Meet and aim to exceed KPI targets which include revenue, meetings and new business development.

7. Manage and develop a pipeline of projects to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.

8. Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and organisation.

9. Research new and existing Customer accounts and enter data into CRM system following GDPR compliance.

10. Attend vendor training sessions and seminars and stay up-to-date with new product & service offerings available existing and new potential vendors.

11. Participate and successfully win tender processes.

12. Create quotations and process sales orders in CRM. Keep CRM cleansed and updated with important customer and sales data.

13. Effectively liaise with staff & suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.

14. Provide support to sales colleagues to their customer projects are accurate, on-time and successful.

Other Duties:

· Management of customer relationship management (CRM) data base

· Business development & client research

· Accurate forecasting of sales

· Marketing activities

· Accurate record keeping & reporting to Senior Management.

· Attend relevant industry events

· Travel within the UK to meet with Supplier and Customers.

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

· Proven experience selling software led solutions to the transport and logistics industry.

· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information.

· Computer literate & a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills to form effective working relationships at all levels.

· Influencing and negotiating skills.

· Driving license and access to vehicle.

· A motivated, self-starter that has proven ability to develop new business.

Not essential but would be an advantage:

· Proven track record of selling and managing the implementation of complex B2B solutions into IT, Operations and Supply Chain departments of Medium to Large businesses.

· Experience in selling value-added services particularly in areas such as networking, telecommunications, computers, complex office equipment or peripherals.

· Good knowledge of CRM, ideally Salesforce.
