Job Location : For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the United Kingdom.

About the Position:

The Principal Implementation Consultant (Solution Oversight) is responsible for delivering long-term solutions to address configuration gaps identified by Dayforce customers post go-live and meet the documented customer requirements in the statement of work (SOW). Solutioning includes confirming and/or gathering requirements, identifying data and configuration issues, and architecting a scalable and robust solution. The Senior Implementation Consultant is a subject matter expert in multiple Dayforce modules and uses their expertise to ensure timely completion of the most complex projects across a variety of Dayforce modules, potentially implementing solutions that address product gaps, and ensure the solutions provided are aligned to customer’s needs. Responsibilities also include mentoring and consulting with team members, documenting implementation process gaps and incorporating best practices. Additionally, the Senior Implementation Consultant works with internal teams across the organization to improve implementation quality and minimize rework post go-live.

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm, gather, understand and document customer requirements
  • Consult customers on various options to address business requirements by:
  • Understand, troubleshoot and modify SQL, XML and XSLT code
  • Project Management
  • Collaborate with customers, Ceridian contacts and 3rd party vendors to conduct thorough testing to deliver a complete and high-quality solution
  • Demonstrate product expertise/knowledge of the software application and how various modules interact with and affect each other
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, Implementation, Support and Product Support teams to identify gaps and implement process and tooling initiatives to prevent re-work and improve implementation quality
  • Use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive projects to successful resolution
  • Recommend continued product enhancements
  • Stay current on latest functionality and configuration practices
  • Collaborate with Projects Team for team tooling ideas, testing and rollout
  • Travel to client site as needed and ability to work flexible hours as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields
  • 7+ years of support experience or equivalent
  • WFM experience is required
  • Superior communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency and an understanding of relational database systems
  • Expert understanding of programming, HTML and Microsoft Server Technology
  • Knowledge of SQL, XML and XSLT
  • Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols
  • Proven experience in successfully leading and delivering complex system configurations

Preferred Qualifications

and Skills:
  • Previous experience in support, consulting and/or project management experience specifically in the HCM space
  • Experience in developing tools and processes to improve workflow, reduce time and increase quality
