SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our ERM Technology team. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering Corporate and Technology Strategic initiatives. In collaboration across business and technology stakeholders you will be focused on understanding functional and non-functional requirements to define solutions that are meet strategic objectives, aligned to our Architectural principles. The role requires high-level analysis, problem solving and communication skills, coupled with a strong customer service focus.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Design and provide architectural oversight in delivery of information technology systems aligned to business and strategic objectives
  • Define and govern current and future state architecture blueprints in the Application, Security and Technology domains that align with our architecture framework
  • Provide analysis of blueprints to assist with project planning and task creation, Risk and Information Security assessments, return on investment and impact analysis
  • Introduce new and innovative approaches in technological advancements
The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
  • At least 10 years’ IT Industry experience in similar Architecture roles
  • TOGAF Certification, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in agile practices
  • In depth knowledge of relevant frameworks and recognised architectural standards including Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF), IT Risk/Security (COBIT), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), IT Delivery (Agile/DevOps), Design (Design Thinking)
  • Strong and broad Information Technology and Digital knowledge
  • Deep awareness and understanding of cloud, hardware, networks and application technologies
