Role / Team Overview

Working within our long established and growing Energy and Sustainability Team, we are looking to recruit an Embedded Energy Consultant with a minimum of five years’ experience of rooftop and/or private wire solar energy experience (e.g. small ground mount solar and/or solar car ports). We require a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is ambitious.

The successful candidate must have experience with undertaking feasibilities studies for solar infrastructure installs and must be able to provide grid, procurement and installation advice. They must be able to demonstrate that they have capabilities to assist with financial/data analysis of solar infrastructure. They must have a strong technical understanding of the grid and solar technology as well as the different contractors and funding options.

The role will encompass a diverse range of clients from rural businesses to large industrial warehouses. The successful candidate will ideally have private wire experience and understand the contract structures that have to be put in place between a landlord and occupier.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of one of the UK’s largest Energy & Sustainability consultancies.

The role is reporting to our Perth (Scotland) and Cambridge offices, but will require flexibility to work remotely from home, client offices and on site.

The position is to be based in our Perth or Cambridge office however other Savills’ offices would be considered.
