With ambition to grow into other green technologies and services. The business has built a client base and reputation on providing excellent service and honest advice. After 5 years of business development and steady growth, we now manage a portfolio of C.£60m of utility purchasing on behalf of our clients, along with a C.£7m pipeline of potential solar sales, with additional ambitious growth plans.If you are interested please apply as soon as possible as it is envisaged this position will be filled quickly.Key Responsibilities Include
  • Project management of the design, supply and installation for Commercial solar PV sites ranging from 20kKw –500kw with some projects above 1MW
  • Traveling to Jobs sites predominantly in and to the north of M62 up to Glasgow
  • Managing 5 –15 jobs all at different stages
  • Managing Jobs remotely
  • Compiling with regulation MCS and internal standards
  • Management of the project Health & Safety. Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Management of the design engineer, administration support and subcontractors.
  • Assisting project design with installation costings
  • Manage warehouse
  • Look at stock control and purchasing plans forecasting with finance
Key Skills And Experience
  • Strong computer skills, being proficient in MS Projects and other CPM software, and the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
  • Renewable energy industry knowledge and experience.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, and knowledge of H&S legislation as applicable to construction projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of solar project finances.
  • Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organisational skills with ability to sort problems
  • Possess a full valid UK Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PM or equivalent certification preferred
  • Electrical/Solar Installation experience
  • Construction, architectural or engineering industry experience
