Omnia Field Technician

Due to the success and rapid growth of the Omnia TerraMap service, we are seeking a Scanner Operator to join our team in our Alnwick depot. Working in the field alongside our agronomy teams, you will carry out the raw data scans and soil sampling used to produce nutrient and texture maps for farmers.

The Role:

· In-field mapping of UK agricultural soils using specialist equipment.

· Maintaining good contact with farmers prior, during and after the service has been carried out.

· Maintain regular contact with the logistics team.

· To keep online tracking documentation up to date and accurate.

· Properly maintain and use equipment provided.

· Overnight stays possible when required.

The Person:

· You must have a clean full UK Driving licence.

· You must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone.

· Innovative problem solver.

· Strong IT skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Attention to detail whilst working under pressure.

· Able to meet deadlines.

· Agricultural experience desirable.

This is a full time, permanent role and suit someone who is happy with regular travel to sites based around Wiltshire and surrounding areas, with a base in our Alwick depot.
