As result, they are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a continuous improvement approach to compliment your exceptional project and people management skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience in Agile development methodologies, and a proven track record of success in managing and mentoring software engineers. Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high quality projects.
  • Develop and implement software engineering strategies, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and mentoring team members.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to accurately deliver on key objectives and client expectations.
  • Highlight and address any challenges in the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide support to engineers to aid their development and skills.
  • Motivate and manage team members to ensure projects are delivered within the allocated time frame.
  • Act as a key member of the senior leadership team to help improve engineering functions and aid business growth.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a software engineering manager
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies is essential.
  • Strong technical skills and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proactive and effective problem solver, motivated by delivering quality products.
  • Exceptional people management skills to motivate and guide a vibrant team.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills.
