Inbox Insight are a rapidly expanding B2B marketing company, working extensively with a host of blue chip clients, media buying agencies and enterprises across EMEA and North America.

We are now looking for a Software Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for development and software engineering tasks to deliver new and enhance existing solutions for the business.

We primarily use the Microsoft technology stack with SQL Server backend with a focus on web development and services. The development ethos is one of innovation and we actively explore new processes and technologies. We are currently using ASP.NET Core 5.0 and manage our release pipeline with CI/CD in Azure DevOps.

The Software Development Manager will coordinate and set the direction for our growing development team. You will work closely with the Data Engineering Team and the Technical Director. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders, you will ensure all work is completed according to schedule, budget and business priorities.

Skills Required

  • Proven team leadership experience including mentoring, coaching and personal development
  • Experience in working with outsourced teams
  • Excellent knowledge of .Net (C#) for both Web Application (MVC) and Web API service development. A good understanding of concepts like generics, reflection, LINQ expressions, Entity Framework is essential
  • Experience in frontend technologies such as Webpack and ReactJS (or similar UI frameworks)
  • Experience in Agile methodologies in projects and software development processes - ideally using Azure DevOps
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Strong MS SQL (T-SQL, Stored Procedures) skills

An understanding of the B2B marketing industry would be an advantage
