WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll contribute heavily to our online and social media presence by creating content and helping to manage our social media pages. You will learn about the business inside out and be able to be a real ambassador for the brand on the internet.

The social media platforms you’ll be responsible for will be Facebook, Instagram, Tripadvisor and Google. You’ll need to report to the restaurant once a week for a meeting as well as occasionally create your own content from within the restaurant.

As well as this, you’ll be able to assist with the development of the brand, potential promotion events, ideas for generating revenue and assisting in delivering the brand strategy.

Key parts of the job will be:

  • High quality content creation (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin)
  • Awareness of insights each week and performance
  • Management of other customer facing areas online (Google, Tripadvisor, Opentable)
  • Responding to customer queries through social media DMs
  • Assisting with concepts of promotional activities that can help drive social media/online awareness

This is a position for 12 hours per week and is the ideal part time job or second job.

We’re Koop+Kraft and we began in January 2018. Since then we have set out to offer a blend high quality comfort food and innovative tasty drinks.

We hold ourselves to a high standard and try and do simple things perfectly.

We’re located in the small village of Cowplain, Waterlooville just outside of Portsmouth.

We’re open on from Tuesday - Saturday in the evenings and from 12pm on Sunday.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

You’ll ideally have professional social media experience previously as well as an understanding and passion for the hospitality industry.

You’ll be able to understand how to organically engage with social media users as well as grow our reach with each post. A hands-on approach with as well as a key eye for detail as well as being proactive is key.

You’ll need to live locally as trips to the restaurant to create content will be required weekly as well as to attend a weekly meeting.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who’s happy to work in-house and we won’t currently be pursuing or following up applications from ’agencies’ as would rather work with one dedicated person.
