Job role: Social Media Assistant

Salary: WPT Band 3 £23114 - £23893 (£21247 - £21963 pro-rata)

Hours: 37 hours/week, term time plus 2 weeks

Location: Wickersley Partnership Trust

Number of positions: 1

Join our team as a Social Media Assistant!

We’re on the lookout for a talented and creative Social Media Assistant to join our Central Marketing & Communications Team, based at our HQ in Central Rotherham.

As our Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for gathering, proof-reading and publishing high- quality social media content across all of our schools’ channels. Working closely (and collaboratively!) with our Marketing Manager, communications Officers and Graphic Designer, you will follow our social media strategy and brand guidelines to help communicate WPT’s core vision to all key stakeholders.

The skills, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in social media on a professional level - preferably across Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn (TikTok experience is a bonus!) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience in editing WordPress websites is advantageous but full training will be provided
  • A good understanding and proven experience using scheduling tools such as Buffer
  • A keen eye for detail - graphic design skills are a bonus!
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, while also being a team player and working alongside the other members of the Marketing and Communications Team
  • A full UK driving licence - occasional travel to and from our school locations is necessary for this role Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you!
