An exciting opportunity to work for an established beauty brand based in Leeds as a Social Media and Outreach Executive. The Social Media and Outreach Executive will be responsible for the company’s social media marketing, brand tone of voice and affiliate programs.

As a successful candidate you will be working on creating and implementing the social media calendar across multiple social media channels. You’ll be an expert in creative, innovative, exciting pieces of content that will appeal to the key target audience. When it comes to the format of the content you’ll be taking charge of written, visual and video. You’ll also make sure that all social media channels are being monitored and analysed on a regular basis. You will have experience outreaching to affiliates and influencers.

The Social Media and Outreach Executive will be a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. Focusing on engaging with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers.

We are ideally looking for previous experience in a social media role, for at least 1 year, although this is not essential if you can demonstrate a solid understanding of social media and the strategy required.

Required Skills

  • Oversee and execute social media strategies, guidelines, best practices, promotional campaigns to reach the target demographic
  • Implementing a cross-channel strategy to grow each social channel
  • Scheduling strong engaging content and monitoring the response to optimise strategy
  • Analyse effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools
  • Working with external agencies to manage social media outreach.
  • Influencer marketing and affiliate experience
  • Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Keep up to date with current trends and innovations in Social Media suggesting ways to grow the channels.

The person

  • 1-year experience in a similar role. (Desirable)
  • Strong passion for social media and awareness of good content.
  • Ability to ensure concepts are acted on and turned into quality content.
  • Experience of driving conversation and moderating social media channels.
  • Creative, well organised and self-motivated.
  • Excellent copy writing skills.
  • Knowledge of creative packages such as Photoshop/InDesign. (Desirable)
  • Solid experience of social media tools such as Twitter Analytics, Facebook & Instagram Insights, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, etc.
  • Email Marketing Experience (Desirable)
