SOC Manager

We are currently recruiting a SOC Manager to join a well-established company with offices across the UK. This is an excellent position for an experienced SOC Manager to join a growing company that will provide them with an opportunity to work with a range of exciting customers and technologies. This is a newly created role as the Information Security team continues to grow.

The successful candidate will shape and oversee the 24x7 Security Ops team. The team will monitor, investigate and resolution of network security, security incidents and identify malicious activity.

The role:

* To manage and develop the SOC team
* Collaborate with other teams.
* Deliver a high level of service
* Manage incidents
* Manage SLAs

Experience:

* Experience in Incident Management
* Demonstratable experience in Cyber-attack response
* Awareness of security tools
* Hands-on experience with SIEM products
* Experience leading a Security Operations Centre
* Proven track in threat and vulnerability management
* Development and implementation of security operations procedures within IT operational teams.

£70,000 to £80,000 plus 5k car allowance, flexible working/WFH - Private healthcare, 25 days holiday, certifications and training covered, and more

Candidates will be given the flexibility to work from home but must live within a commutable distance of Glasgow, Derbyshire, Manchester or London
