We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Landbased faculty and we have a new role available as a Skills Tutor Animal Management in our Animal Care Unit at our Cambridge Campus. In recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength and we are now at the forefront of vocational education.
You will be required to deliver all forms of practical skill tuition and associated theoretical knowledge, assessments. You must have a level 3 in Animal Care/Management and you must have a good range of handling skills within animal care. We have great facilities on site but are always looking to make improvements to ensure our staff and students have the best possible learning environments. The staff are welcoming, supportive and have a great sense of humour. We work tirelessly to give all our students the best opportunity to succeed, whether that is taking the first step on to the employment ladder or moving in to more senior positions. Whilst it is hard work, it is also hugely rewarding.
We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance, plus five College closure days (pro-rata for part-time), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme and support with training and development.
