SIZE & FIT COPYWRITER, NORTHAMPTON
The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all products on the site are described in an accurate, eloquent and reliable manner, in clear and concise English and in a way that is consistent with the Harvey Nichols house style. This role is also responsible for maintaining the universal sizing facet and product page sizing drop down on site, flagging and amending errors and liaising with buy/stock teams to correct when appropriate.
What you’ll be doing:

  • View the garment through the customer eye, paying close attention to technical details which affect the fit at all times
  • Enter first draft product descriptions for weekly upload ensuring that they are accurate, concise and informative, this includes technical details and size & fit information
  • Manage the mapping and display of universal sizing facet and product page sizing drop down
  • Making sure all information provided on the website is accurate and helpful
  • Owning the override process within the PIM system ensuring brand sizing is displayed correctly
  • Helping the Senior S&F copywriter with the returns report
  • Enter all product details and size & fit information following the Harvey Nichols brand guidelines
  • Provide accurate and engaging fit information for the customer, ensuring all assigned styles are tried on, measured and represented correctly
  • Work to daily and weekly deadlines in advance, being measured on both quantity and quality to ensure team targets are met
  • Manage the mapping and display of universal sizing facet and product page sizing drop downs
  • Final daily check once product is live, and amend as necessary
  • Have an understanding of weekly sales reports to aid the writing of product descriptions and ensure that all content is both commercially and editorially viable
  • Analyse weekly and monthly return reports, making sure all information provided on the website is accurate and helpful
  • Maintain competitor awareness to ensure our product page information is always a step ahead of our competition, and initiate ideas for improvement
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested

About your experience:

  • Degree in Fashion design or equivalent
  • Excellent written English and strong self-editing skills
  • Sound knowledge of luxury designers and brands
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
  • MS Office - Intermediate Level (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
