The Opportunity:
Coupa Software is a high-growth SaaS company and market leader in the BSM (Business Spend Management) space. We are in a major growth phase and wish to expand our Site Reliability Engineering team in the EMEA region to help scale our leading cloud platform.
We are seeking engineers with operating systems and cloud experience to join our global Platform Operations team. You will join a team of 15 spread across 3 primary centres in APAC, EMEA and the US. This group forms part of a larger Cloud Operations team, supporting, expanding and securing our platform in AWS, Azure and GCP.

Joining the team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer will provide you the opportunity to make a huge impact and take your career to the next level. You will bring an automation-first approach to your day-to-day activities, manage a massive-scale cloud infrastructure through code and have a strong sense of service ownership and accountability. You will be supported through in-house training and certification on our Coupa University platform and through subscriptions with leading learning partners such as Linux Academy and ACloudGuru.

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will:
- Administration of Linux machines, Windows servers, Web servers, Application servers, Databases.
- Development and automation using high level or low level programming languages.
- Application and infrastructure support for customer environments.
- Collaborate with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy product releases.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
- Ability to participate in design review, code review, code, follow stack trace during incidents and resolve.
- Ability to operate in the high-pressure environment and troubleshoot complex issues quickly, while successfully handling multiple priorities.
- Ability to record, write and review RCA’s.
- Release engineering for new product releases and maintenance.

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who has:
- Understanding and experience in managing cloud infrastructure and platforms, such as AWS and Azure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of production system administration and web operations experience
- 2+ years of experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems internals and administration
- 2+ years of experience with programming using Python, C#, Java, Go, Ruby.
- Experience with tools like Chef, Octopus, Jenkins, Rundeck or equivalent
- Good understanding of DNS and Load balancers setup and troubleshooting
- Experience in massive-scale web operations
- Experience with containerization, Amazon EKS/ Azure AKS
- MS SQL Server and general database knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communications with passion for solving problem
- Confidence in your ability to own and deliver projects and issues to resolution on your own & Can think and act globally
