JOB SUMMARY - SITE MEDICAL DIRECTOR for PRUH & South Sites

Working as part of the Trust’s senior leadership team, the Site Medical Director will ensure that service objectives are implemented through strong, positive professional leadership of doctors. As a key member of the Site Executive Team, the post holder will accept shared accountability for the hospital meeting its strategic, operational, and financial objectives.

JOB SUMMARY - DEPUTY CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER for King’s College Hospital

The post is particularly suitable for individuals who are considering a future Chief Medical Officer role within a major centre. and who wish to gain experience to support this aim, possibly having already performed as Executive Medical Director within a smaller Trust. Appropriate support will be provided to the appointee as part of their management appraisal (as separate to appraisal for revalidation) to consider their individual career goals and personal development.
