Site Manager/ Site Agent - Plymouth

Opportunity

We are looking to recruit Site Managers/Agents at all experience levels, for one of our client’s projects which has multiple sites across the South-West. You will be responsible for ensuring that a construction site is completed on time and within budget, along with organisation, implementation, and scheduling of the other sites. Although, this position will be based on a site, there is opportunity for hybrid working.

Responsibilities May Include
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Review the work progress on daily basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
  • Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
About You
  • Candidate should have a CSCS or NPORS card
  • Should ideally at least 2-3 years of on-site experience
  • Full UK Driving License
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) desired, but not required
  • Should ideally have an undergraduate degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field
  • Should understand all facets of the construction process
  • Should be familiar with construction management software packages
  • Should be competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Should possess leadership and human resources management skills
  • Should have excellent time and project management skills
