Job Description

This position will be based in the Midlands with travel to sites throughout the UK. It may suit an experienced M+E Site Manager who has worked in the water sector across UK Water Company Frameworks. Duties may include but not be limited to: Review of pre-construction information Preparation and sign off of all relevant documentation prior to the commencement of the installation phase of contracts, including but not limited to: o Site Management Plans o Risk Assessments and Method Statements for activities being undertaken by directly employed resources Reviewing and approval of subcontractors site documentation including but not limited to: o Risk Assessments and Method Statements o Installation programmes o Test and Inspection documentation Management and control of all site activities ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe and timely manner in accordance with all Safety, Health and Environmental legislation. To ensure all required site documentation is completed, including but not limited to: o Daily diary sheets o Daily allocation sheets o Records of delays and changes, including the financial implications o All relevant Safety, Health and Environmental documentation o Records in respect of Subcontractor progress and performance Ensure that site costs are monitored and controlled. Preparation of progress reports as required. Attendance at site visits / meetings. Coordination and liaison with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installation and construction teams. Preparation of material & plant requisitions Qualifications and Experience: SMSTS Engineering qualification HNC/HND/Degree preferred Experience in the Water or Renewable Energy Sector Proven track record in managing multi-disciplined site based projects Preferred background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering based projects Full UK Driving Licence How do I apply?
