EMN Plant Ltd is a plant hire, contracting, haulage, quarry and recycling business with our main base at Sella Ness, Graven.

Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Site Manager / Estimator to join our civil engineering division.

Job Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, the job holder will look after the civil engineering division of the business.

Your Responsibilities and Duties will include:

· Site Surveying and Setting Out using Robotoic Total Station

· Using AutoCAD for surveys and drafting

· Estimating and compiling tender submissions from small works to large contracts

· Procuring materials for works in advance of them starting

· Compiling quality and safety documents e.g.

o Method statements

o Risk assessments

o Construction phase plans

o Waste management plans

o Environmental management plans

· Managing site resources and planning ahead in advance

· Monitoring job costs and compiling valuations

· Compiling project programme of works and monitoring progress

Ideally you will possess the following Qualifications and Attributes:

· Experience working in a civil engineering / building environment

· Experience in site management

· Strong IT skills

· Good verbal communication skills

· Ability to take instructions and work under minimal supervision

· Willingness to be flexible

· Be organised in prioritising workload effectively

· Be physically fit

· Full, valid Driving Licence

· Maintain good knowledge of health and safety policy and procedures at all times

Schedule:

· 40 hour basic week with overtime opportunity
