To manage and oversee all production on Blyth site and other sites in the UK, and overseas on an ad hoc basis if required. To manage production staff on site to achieve best results for the customer and company alike To produce good efficient and in good time, production schedules to achieve client deadlines and company requirements and ensure these are adhered to To manage staffing on site at all sites to ensure correct levels of staff to do the work required. To ensure quality control across product and production administration, health and safety and environmental systems are monitored and maintained across all areas of remit. Manufacture
  • To ensure all production work is carried out in accordance with design and management instructions
  • To ensure all production work is manufactured within budget and on schedule o To plan and implement effective and efficient project manufacturing schedules o To ensure all production staff have necessary resources to maintain project schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Logistics/delivery/load out
  • Coordinate project logistics for project delivery and ensure efficient and effective planning and execution. Ensuring best price is adhered to
  • To ensure all load-outs are managed efficiently and within quality standards with photographs of loading and products as they leave the site Site management/personnel/financials
  • To proactively ensure best cost and best efficiencies across all deliverables Monitoring material and utilities cost by adhering to company standards and ensuring 2/3 quotes for materials working with Project Managers/site administrator for best value.
  • To manage, supervise and monitor all site staff to ensure correct levels of staffing at all sites at all times and to proactively discuss issues with Operations Manager/MD on a weekly/monthly basis
  • To manage effectively and efficiently company assets on sites- as applicable o To take responsibility for ensuring all frame hire logs are kept up to date o To take responsibly for ensuing all crane records are kept and tests are done as required and certificates are up to date Minimum requirement 7 years’ experience in:
  • Management in production environment
  • Concrete production experience
  • Logistics experience
  • Offshore load out experience
  • Procurement/buying experience
  • Financial awareness and understanding of budgets
  • Good QHSE knowledge and implementation
  • People management & working knowledge of employment law
  • Problem solving and solution experience
  • Initiative and proactive Positive approach and work ethic Ideal 10 years plus experience in above
  • Bitumen and grouting experience
  • Qualification or certificate in Management
  • Previous work in Oil & Gas or Renewables
  • Engineering qualification or certificate HSE qualification or certificate
