NG Bailey have an opportunity for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our building services team in Manchester


In this role you will be responsible for the effective implementation of the project/site programme, ensuring that workforce, both employed or subcontracted, are managed to maximise productivity through the coordination of labour and project/site activities.


Responsibilities
:


  • Demonstrate appropriate health and safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities.
  • Develop installation drawings and implement best practice techniques to ensure efficient delivery of the project
  • Work with PM/CM to identify labour requirements to ensure cost effective use of the same
  • Regularly review requirements and make appropriate recommendations to amend the programme to maximise productivity and minimise costs.
  • Ensure that all operational activities are carried out in compliance with internal regulations and external legislation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the customer through efficient delivery of projects, with a view to optimising future opportunities.
  • Monitor sub-contractors work, ensuring it is being carried out to specification.
  • Develop and adhere to project specific quality plan that complies with the contract specification and quality standards, reducing risk for NG Bailey
  • Locally manage the workforce on the project


Requirements:

  • M&E Site Experience
  • Qualification in mechanical trade
  • Experience of working on high value building services projects in a similar role.
