We are looking for talented and experienced Security (SIA) Trainer who is adoring about helping learners achieve success.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assist the Training & Compliance Manager in planning training courses.
  • Plan, organise and deliver security training courses in the class to our adult security courses learners
  • Using your creativeness and personality to achieve maximum pass rates
  • Mark and assess learner exams papers, provide support and feedback to learners
  • Liaise with awarding body.
  • Ensure all necessary and relevant paperwork is completed and correctly submit the training records
  • Carry out assessments to ensure compliance when required Undertake other reasonable duties, as and when deemed necessary by Training & Compliance Manager
  • Support the design of new Security Training Courses for Security and health and safety.

Skills and experience required for the Security (SIA) Trainer:

  • Recognised Teaching Qualification, e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS or DTLLS or certificate in education
  • Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in the Delivery of Physical Intervention Skills training
  • Must hold license-linked qualification within SIA approved Physical Intervention Skills programme provider, with evidence of annual refresher training
  • NQF/QCF Level 3 qualification in the Delivery of Conflict Management training.
  • Previous experience working as a Security Trainer.
  • Proven track record in achieving maximum results through effective learner delivery
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Occupational experience and up to date knowledge within the Security sector
  • Assessor qualification
  • Level 3 Award
  • Any IQ Qualification or willing to complete
