Summary

Task Personnel Solutions Limited are recruiting SIA Guards for a prestigious client with sites across various Cities.

You will be responsible for the safety and security of the site and will ensure that only those authorised to enter the premises are allowed on whilst refusing access to those without the proper credentials.

All staff will be correctly dressed in full uniform and will treat any public enquiries with respect.

A robust yet intelligent approach to dealing with various security situations is a must and a willingness to be called in at short notice is also a requirement.

Candidates must hold an up-to-date SIA BADGE and preferably hold a full UK Driving Licence along with a full 5-year checkable employment history.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring site activity outside and inside premises through observation during
patrols
  • Respond appropriately to all types of security incidents and intruders on site
  • Record information of security incidents on computer systems and send to
appropriate management
  • Patrol site on foot, both internal and external, maintaining radio contact
  • Fulfil both Security and Health and Safety roles whilst patrolling. Report
incidents to management and Safety Health and Environment group
  • Conducting general reception duties when required

Person Specification

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, word & outlook systems
  • Previous experience in similar security role
  • The ability to follow instructions & adhere to procedures
  • Full UK driving license
  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time and utilise a large number of stairs
when required.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and Bank Holidays
