Capricorn Security are looking for experienced SIA Security Licenced staff to work with our Events Team at the Oldham Whit Walks, 2022. The event will take place this June in the Saddleworth and surrounding areas.

This event attracts thousands of visitors to the area for a organised walk, with brass bands playing along the route. During the event, you will be working outside and will be on your feet, interacting with visitors in a pleasant and helpful manner.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks to identify any potential risk/hazards along the route and reporting these to the Manager on site
  • Being helpful and polite, greeting and directing visitors
  • Monitoring crowd movements and behaviour to identify any potential issues and take appropriate action to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors
  • Dealing with potential crowd disruptions
