With the re-opening of hospitality, UltraSec Security are looking to expand our night time economy division for our pub, bar and nightclub deployments.

We are recruiting for SIA Door Supervisors for regular nighttime economy venues in the Chorley (Lancashire) area.

Job Title: SIA Door Supervisor

Salary: Upwards of £10.50 inclusive paid holiday entitlement dependant on role and experience.

Location: Chorley, Lancashire.

Role: Responsible for the safety and security of employees and guests at our venues. Ensuring event policies and security plan objectives are upheld, controlling crowds, managing conflict and any incidents that may arise.

Tasks include but aren’t limited to:

  • Ingress control – ticket validation, physical body and bag searches, crowd control, refusal of guests when behaviour/suitability is not line with event house rules/policies.
  • Crowd control/people management – foot traffic direction, escorting and ejecting guests – temporally detaining guests prior to police handover, maintaining order, subdue anti-social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to, apprehending guests/staff suspected of committing a crime.
  • Deliver approachable customer service and support.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour/take appropriate action.
  • Egress control.
  • Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.
  • Protection of assets and prevention of losses.

You will need the following:

  • You will be able to demonstrate you have a clear passion for Crowd Safety.
  • You will have good understanding of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.
  • You will have an eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks.
  • You will be well adverse with conflict management and have the facility to deal with difficult people in conflict or emergency situations.
  • Your reactions to security risks/issues, guest behaviour and crowd management will be reasonable, proportionate and effective.
  • Guest experience will be important to you and you will be accessible and helpful.
  • You will work effectively within a team and be an excellent communicator.
  • All employees are required to deliver exceptional levels of customer service, maintaining a smart, friendly, professional approach at all times.
  • You are comfortable with camping on site if required and can provide essential camping kit. You will be robust to the outdoors and be willing to undertake overnight camping.

COVID-19 considerations:
PPE Provided to staff as per World Health Organisation and Public Health England guidance. Regular Covid-19 Lateral Flow Testing.
