£12.50 per hour

Temporary to Permanent position

Overtime available

Free staff parking

Shift: 40 hours per week. Morning shift 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday

My client is well established, industry leading Steelwork Fabricating company. Based in North Yorkshire, they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2024. They offer a range of services from, design, manufacturing through to installation. This has given the company opportunities to service a multitude of sectors, with a diverse client base stretching across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shot Blaster to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

This opportunity gives a Shot Blaster the chance to work with one of the most respected Structural Steel Fabricating companies in the UK.

Main Duties:

Working to specific production schedules ensuring all items are completed for each load.

Completing all administrative procedures relating to blast profile checks, machine daily checks and cast number traceability.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment

Maintaining own equipment- refill machine with shot and change waste shot discard.

Using overhead cranes to load machine with steel bars.

Any other ad hoc duties as may be required within the production environment.
