Shop Manager

St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Shop Managerto join their Retail team. This role is based in our flagship Clothes Shop in Taunton, Somerset.We have full-time and part time hours available. You will join us on apermanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum (based on working 37 hours per week).

We are looking to recruit an experienced Shop Manager to lead our Taunton Clothes Shop. Prominent in the community and with a broad, loyal customer base, you will be responsible for the day to day running of this thriving shop located in the heart of Taunton.

You will work alongside experienced staff and volunteers to drive sales and maximise profit, knowing that you and your shop are making a positive difference to the lives of patients and their families across Somerset.

You will have gained experience within the Retail industry, ideally from a supervisory or management role, and will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the highest possible standards of customer service. You will positively demonstrate how to manage, develop and motivate a team of staff and volunteers and will support the area manager with the recruitment process of shop colleagues.
