We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to join the Freight team in Portsmouth Port.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, eager to learn and able to share our TRUE Values.

The Role

This role forms part of a fantastic, hardworking team of which you will be a key member. As a Shipping Clerk your role will include Dealing with our clients and the general public regarding Customs procedures for freight arriving into the UK and EU.

You Will Also Be Involved With
  • Dealing with our clients and the general public regarding Customs procedures for freight arriving into the UK and EU
  • Deal with customer enquiries and bookings by phone, email and in person
  • Providing a high level of customer service in accordance with Condor Ferries’ standards, regulations and requirements
  • Distribute authorised gate passes to collecting drivers
  • To receive payment for VAT and other Customs charges
About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role, with high attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
