We are looking for a Team leader to lead a team of 8 people in an Alanine dosimeter production environment.

Duties:

People

  • Ensuring that the team is working to the company SOPs
  • Ensuring the continuous flow of production
  • Re-arranging resources to ensure the efficiency of use of machines should production not go to plan
  • Support and drive problem solving and quality/process/performance improvement
  • Enable and drive clear communication lines between Process Operators, Team Leader peers, and the management team
  • Participate and drive OTOG initiatives
  • To help create and maintain a proactive culture where team members are empowered to deliver the company values of ACHIEVEMENT, INNOVATION, INTEGRITY, and ACCOUNTABILITY.
  • Leads PIT Meetings with the team

Production

  • On-shift ‘superuser’ for Alanine production
  • Program and operate the computer system that operates the machinery, used in manufacture and production of material.
  • Conduct inspections of key process points in your area of work, to identify anything abnormal. If an issue is identified, make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments, and implement the proper response, including notifying supervisors.
  • Maintaining detailed reports of operations, including updating process logbooks with activities and process adjustments made, noting any issues encountered.
  • Carry out routine operation of processing equipment in the manufacturing of all dosimeter products. Following all safety instructions to prevent injury or accidents.
  • To co-operate and work as a team in the processing of dosimeters as required.
  • To follow instructions and directions of any member of the site Management team in order to support HDL day to day business objectives.
  • To work with all team members to achieve production requirements or objectives.
  • Help with deliveries and collections as required.
  • Undergo internal and external training as required.
  • Supports continuous improvement plans or actions as directed by any of the site management team.
  • Takes part in meetings and other sessions that may be required to cover training, development, or health and safety.
  • Any other operation requirements that may be needed in order to support the processing of dosimeters as requested by their line manager.
  • Review and reporting of plant downtime data ensuring records are maintained
  • Management of site consumable stock as needed

Remuneration: 29 k per annum
